The vision of the Walt Disney World Marketing Strategy organization is to be the most innovative marketers of immersive entertainment, inspiring people worldwide to make their Disney dreams come true. As the Sr. Manager, Marketing Strategy for Disney Springs and Walt Disney World Merchandise, you will lead a high-performing, dynamic team responsible for developing innovative marketing strategies and plans, directing social media channels, and closely collaborating with internal and third-party partners.

Responsibilities :

  • Lead and direct innovative marketing strategies and communication plans creating campaigns that connect, excite, inspire, and activate
  • Lead strategy for Disney Springs social channels
  • Develop and inspire team of cast members
  • Lead cross-functional, collaborative forums
  • Collaborate with world-class internal and third-party partners
  • Guide experiential franchise, seasonal, and DEI activations
  • Maintain subject matter expertise on the business, product, consumer, industry, and social media trends
  • Assess performance, needs, risks, and opportunities to inform optimizations and action plans
  • Oversee management of onsite advertising portfolio and placements
  • Cultivate an environment of creativity, innovation, and activation

Basic Qualifications :

  • 7+ years in a marketing strategy setting
  • 5+ years in a direct leadership experience
  • Experience developing marketing strategies, briefs, plans rooted in consumer insights and data
  • Creative thinker and problem solver
  • Commercial sensibility
  • Partnership skills
  • Experience presenting to executives / interfaces with executives
  • Social media experience and up-to-date on technology
  • Understanding of content creation
  • P&L understanding
  • Experience in project management

Preferred Qualifications:

Previous work experience in Brand Management, Marketing Strategy, Digital Marketing, Public Relations, Consumer Packaged Goods, Corporate Alliances/Partnerships, Synergy, or Advertising Account Management
Experience working in a dynamic environment
Experience managing corporate social media handles
Experience developing content or content strategies for social media
Experience with affluent audiences
Experience with affinity audiences
Experience with DEI
Experience developing and cultivating Marketing Partnerships
Experience with Retail Industry or CPG

Required Education :
Bachelors Degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or equivalent

Preferred Education :
Masters of Business Administration or equivalent advanced degree
