An exciting opportunity to join the Global Operational Continuity, Resiliency & Services team who is responsible for setting the tone and shaping the environment for enterprise operational continuity & resiliency. The organization, along with our LOB/CF partners, is focused on the continued delivery of critical services of the Company and our ability to respond to severe yet plausible stress scenarios. Further, the area of operational resiliency is of key interest and focus by senior leadership of the Company and the global regulatory community. This opportunity will offer engagement and visibility with senior leaders within the organization and provide opportunities for career development in this exciting and evolving area of financial services.

The Product Management capability within Global Operational Continuity, Resiliency, & Services is accountable for developing the product strategy and ensuring alignment to the overall organizational strategy while prioritizing delivery of value across platforms.

The Innovation and Strategy Lead will be for setting the direction of the technical solutions to meet business needs and further enabler our processes. The candidate will drive both the short and long term view of product design and connectivity. Further, the role will ensure appropriate integration and oversight of tool capabilities of the organization in a unified capacity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leading identification and implementation of automation and emerging technology solutions in the GOCRS team. Activities include partnering with business leaders to execute process re-engineering efforts and implementation of various automation solutions.

  • Educate business process owners on automation, emerging technologies and use cases to solve business problems

  • Lead proof of concepts / pilots to test suitability of technologies in solving business problems

  • Drive the implementation of the solution across technology and business resources, identifying and eliminating roadblocks

  • Work across the organization to partner on opportunities to leverage and reuse solutions across common business processes, where appropriate

  • Communicate to senior stakeholders on progress, opportunities, and results

  • Partner with various groups across the organization to ensure visibility into potential impacts of changes affecting Resiliency processes

  • Responsible for planning, organizing, and monitoring work items using appropriate tools and techniques to ensure efficient and effective completion

  • Manages within and across teams to achieve process or product objectives

  • Summarize thru content development and present initiative-specific key findings, performance, and recommendations to senior and executive leadership

  • Identify emerging opportunities and proactively manage functional and internal coordination, as well as risks, issues, and dependencies

  • Partner with internal technical team to facilitate and deploy process improvement across the enterprise

  • Integrates best practices with project management and/or product design to ensure continuous process improvement

Required Skills:

  • Ability to influence across multiple business units at all levels

  • Superior problem solving and organizational skills

  • Ability to synthesize data and develop recommendations

  • Understanding of Business Continuity/Recovery and Resolution requirements or other experience with regulatory requirements

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Solid work ethic and willingness to take on new initiatives

  • Independently driven / self-motivated

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with strong attention to detail and accuracy

  • Thinks critically and considers multiple perspectives

  • Highly organized with the ability to prioritize competing demands

Desired Skills:

  • Proven analytical, logical reasoning and problem-solving skills

  • Experience with Agile Methodology in Enterprise environment

  • Working knowledge of Appian platform

  • Knowledge of and experience with enterprise policies, programs, procedures, and systems

  • 5+ plus years of project management experience

  • SharePoint workflow experience

  • Ability to assess and optimize existing processes and workflows

  • Capable of managing multiple priorities and executing goals with less than complete data
