Title: Specialist - Hr I
Location: Remote - Kent, Washington 98032
Duration: 6+ Months Contract with high possible extension
Act as a primary employee contact for inbound requests to the Client HR service center utilizing knowledgebase and case management tools to assist HR functional experts, managers, and employees in completing human resource transactions in accordance with service center standards. Provide an excellent employee experience by providing quality service delivery.
Resolve HR functional experts, manager and employee inquiries and issues by utilizing People Services procedures, policy, and other reference materials
Support total onboarding experience including pre-hire communications, orientation presentation, and I9 processing
Partners with appropriate functional teams on the employee’s behalf to ensure case is resolved.
Supports employees and managers with questions/situations regarding Human Resources policies, practices, tools, and processes.
Partners with team members, leaders, and Human Resource Business Partners (HRBPs) to educate on processes and procedures to increase accuracy and efficiency.
Track all inquiries with the People Services team per established processes
Ensure manager and employee inquiries are addressed by functional specialists when specific, in-depth functional knowledge is required
Notify the appropriate team member when updates to the knowledgebase are needed
Pull reports, conduct analysis and provide summary of data/information to functional specialists
Conduct data entry regularly in Workday and other HR systems
Identify unusual events or frequent employee issues and work with the People Services team and Snr. Manager – Operations & Employee to develop mitigation strategy
Assist with building, implementing, and maintaining HR business processes to support the creation and maintenance of the Client HR Service Center
Suggest methods to update, simplify, or enhance processes, procedures, and technologies
Support and/or lead People Services process improvement efforts or projects as assigned
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Resources; 5 years’ experience in Human Resources; or an equivalent level of experience to do the work successfully Experience managing projects within an HR service center environment required Effective and professional written communication
Experience building an HR service center (startup) highly desired
