This effort supports the IRS O365 Program Management Office (PMO). Project Manager will serve as the task order manager and is responsible for successful task order execution to include providing bi-weekly and monthly status reports. The Project Manager is also responsible for providing technical expertise for Operations & Maintenance support of the O365 Modernization Program Office infrastructure and related work. The Program Manager will have one direct report who also provides technical expertise, both positions are referred to as SME level project managers. The SME level project managers will support the government project managers on the various projects under the O365 PMO. These projects include migrations from Exchange to Exchange Online, SharePoint to SharePoint Online, local and network home directory files to OneDrive for Business and implementation of Teams and eventual retirement of on-premise Skype for Business. Effort may include some work regarding the common, underlying infrastructure and security, referred to as Common Services and Architecture (CS&A) and Project Online. SME level project managers will develop and track Enterprise Level Cycle (ELC) and Project Management Framework (PMF) documents and artifacts; support project governance needs for both the Cloud and EOps Governance Boards; gather, manage and track risks in ITRAC, and capture and track action items, among other tasks to be defined by PMO leadership.
