Job Description:

Small Business Lending Sr. Product Manager will be responsible for supporting small business lines and loans by developing multigenerational product loan growth strategies, making product enhancements to improve client experience and operational efficiency, and developing risk mitigation tactics.

Small Business Lending Sr. Product Manager - Portfolio Management and Product Development Additional Responsibilities include:

  • Develop and deploy portfolio strategies to build portfolio credit line balances within Bank’s risk appetite, design competitive offers that minimize portfolio attrition on loan/line products, and enhance operational efficiency

  • Deliver and execute innovative ideas to drive product engagement from Sales channels for Business Advantage Lending products including Cash-secured & Unsecured Business Advantage Credit Line products, BA Term Loans, and legacy lines of credit portfolio    

  • Engage with Technology partners to ensure progress on development and on-time launch of the Cash-secured Business Advantage Credit Line product

  • Requires strong partnership with the following teams: Sales, Underwriting, Credit Strategies, Credit Risk, Digital, Marketing, Business Control, Technology, Fulfillment, and Servicing

  • Ability to manage and monitor run-off lines of credit legacy portfolios

  • Liaise with Digital Channel Partners to ensure best-in-class digital capabilities for Business Advantage products

  • Ensure product metrics dashboard reporting is relevant and error free

  • Ability to liaise with Finance and Analytics teams to conduct ad-hoc analysis to size business opportunities and develop strategy recommendations

  • Developing short-term and long-term strategies designed to meet client needs

Required Skills:

  • 5+ years of effective strategic product or financial services management experience

  • Organizational skills - ability to ensure coordination, connectivity, and measurement discipline of multiple high impact efforts simultaneously

  • Proven ability to solve complex problems through structured analytics

  • Proven ability to identify, analyze, and develop initiatives challenging the status quo

  • Communicates and influences with impact; Demonstrates high level of written and oral communication skills

  • Detailed oriented, ability to handle multiple priorities with acute attention to detail

  • Results-oriented with proven track record of establishing accountability

  • Ability to work independently and prioritize work to meet deadlines/milestones

Desired Skills:

  • MBA preferred

  • Understanding of Business lending products

  • Experience with ICDP/TSYS or GUS/LoanIQ lending platforms

  • Experience with credit risk management
