Job Description:

The Residential Real Estate Specialist (RRES) will be aligned with Advisors for Private and/or Merrill within geographic regions to provide customized home financing solutions for high net worth clients. They are the Residential Real Estate advisor integrated within the client-centric team for the Mortgage and HELOC product. Minimum  7 to 10 years' experience in sales and or/commercial UW and all aspects of current Regulatory requirements within residential real estate wealth/private banking setting

Required Skills:

  • Commercially credit trained
  • Experience (7 to 10) years with all aspects of mortgage origination process, including processing, underwriting and closing and all Regulatory aspects of residential lending
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and a high level of interpersonal and consultative skills
  • Strong team, client and service orientation
  • Problem solving ability
  • Experienced credit analysis skills
  • High level of mortgage product knowledge, incorporating product and pricing structures underwriting and appraisal process, salability guidelines etc.
  • Goal orientation, supported by a strong focus on client needs.  Strong time management and organizational skills with superior follow up and attention to detail
  • Proven ability to build relationships within the high net worth market, both external and internal
  • Proactive, energetic, resourceful.  Ability to perform without direct management supervision
  • Some travel required
