Being a Real Estate Agent at Houwzer

As a Real Estate Agent at Houwzer, we want you to be able to provide outstanding experiences to the clients you serve. Whether you are a listing agent or a buyer agent, we want to set you up for success. We will provide you with a stable salary, utilize our administrative support teams to handle all of your marketing needs, provide you with leads, and cover many of the fees that come with being an agent. You will be considered a skilled specialist in the work that you do which means you will only work with buyers as a buyer agent or sellers as a listing agent. All of this means that you get to completely pour your focus into the client’s experience as you oversee, from consulting to close, the biggest transaction of most people’s lives. We think that’s pretty special!

Here’s What You’ll Do:

  • Nurture assigned leads by responding promptly to all incoming inquiries and ensuring accurate data entry by documenting them in the Houwzer CRM

  • Develop a personal sphere (Circle of Influence) to build a network of new client leads, and convert leads into active clients

  • Conduct client consultations as needed

  • Counsel and advise clients by educating them on and guiding them through the transaction process

  • Negotiate throughout the transaction process on behalf of your clients, including offer price, reply to inspections, and appraisal outcome

  • Monitor all under contract listings to ensure a closed deal

  • Visit listed properties as needed

  • Consistently network to create brand awareness and meet potential clients, developers, and other agents

  • Attend a minimum of one weeknight and one weekend Open House (buyer agents only)

To Get in the Door, We Need You to Have:

  • A current and valid Real Estate Salesperson License or Broker License the state where you’ll work, and a demonstrated track record of closing transactions

  • Experience working with relevant technologies such as Bright MLS, Copper CRM, Zillow and Trulia, Google Applications (G-Suite), as well as mobile technology

  • A positive “do whatever it takes” and “all hands on deck” attitude

  • Project management skills and high attention to detail

  • The flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and client needs

  • Ability to work nights and weekends, as needed by clients

  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to network in order to build your business

  • A dedication to customer service and an alignment with our mission and values


  • Real Estate Agents at Houwzer receive a base salary, plus bonuses!

  • We provide a bonus per each successful transaction, as well as a tiered-bonus structure based on the total number of annual deals closed.

  • Houwzer also covers the cost of most agent fees! We’ll pay for your license renewal, your access to the MLS, CRM, and marketing support.
