Job Description

As part of the Prepaid Issue Management Team we work with many different departments including Implementations, Product, Marketing and Sales as well as Risk, Compliance and TOS. If something goes wrong, we step in to help fix it. The Issue Project Management team is responsible for researching and leading on production issues that have the potential to be a compliance issue or require the application of project management methodology to resolve. When the issue meets the criteria for entry into the Centralized Issue Tracker (CIT) as a self-identified issue, the team will manage that effort.

Participates in the identification, design, development and implementation of assigned projects. Assigned projects may be issue or systems related in nature. Interfaces with internal and external resources to ensure successful and timely completion in accordance with risk, compliance and user needs. Participates in training users and evaluating the project. Out of the box, critical thinker and problem solver. Ability to identify root causes of issues and recommend solutions.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience

  • Five to eight years of experience in project management activities

  • SQL and database query knowledge

Preferred Skills/Experience

  • Three to five years of prepaid card experience, or equivalent work experience

  • Intermediate skill with Microsoft Office products

  • Ability to identify and resolve exceptions and to analyze data

  • Strong organizational and analytical skills

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Strong collaborative skills

  • comfortable working independently and in a team environment

  • Advanced knowledge of prepaid products and processes

  • Advanced skill with Microsoft Office products

  • Demonstrated management and leadership skills

  • Experience within fraud/compliance/issue management within a financial institution

  • Advanced knowledge of project management

  • Master's degree preferred

  • SQL Certification preferred

  • Visual Basic for Applications (VBA) skills
