Primary Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop UI applications
  • Write reusable code/components using modern JS libraries and frameworks like React
  • Maintain code quality using modern JS testing frameworks and tools
  • Provide meaningful contribution to code reviews and code quality check
  • Deploy code using Jenkins Pipeline
  • Proficient in using RESTful and GraphQL APIs
  • Acts as a lead engineer in the team and accountable for coaching and mentoring of other team members

Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of software engineering experience using JavaScript or Typescript using NodeJS
  • 1+ years of Familiarity with using Postman, SoapUI, Altair or similar tools to interaction with service APIs
  • 1+ years of Experience with working with SPA applications build using UI frameworks such as React
  • 1+ years of Understanding of document and relational databases
  • 1+ years of Solid understanding fundamental programming concepts and good experience of TDD
  • 1+ years of Solid understanding of document and relational database
  • 1+ years of Passion for developing high quality, well tested code following organizational standards
  • 1+ year of Experience working in a Scrum environment
  • Experience collaborating on highly distributed teams
  • Proven ability to collaborate with developers, and other relevant team members

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Terraform
  • Jenkins
  • Azure Cloud Management
  • Cosmos DB
  • Azure Function Apps
  • Understanding of Event Sourcing concepts
  • Familiarity with functional programming and Software design patterns
  • Familiarity with CI/CD Pipelines and trunk based development
  • Experience with deploying into and managing cloud providers (Azure, AWS, GCP, etc.).
  • Experience working in a Scrum environment
  • Experience with fetching from REST and Graph QL APIs
  • Deep understanding of asynchronous operations
  • Full stack experience (preferably ReactJS)
  • Proficiency using 2 or more other programming languages like Java, Scala etc.
  • Solid communication, presentation and organization skills
  • Able to work independently

Colorado, Connecticut or Nevada Residents Only: The salary range for Colorado residents is $97,300 to $176,900. The salary range for Connecticut / Nevada residents is $97,300 to $176,900. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, UnitedHealth Group offers benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
