30 North is a fine dining environment that showcases culinary excellence with an emphasis on presenting fresh local ingredients in an artistic and refined manner. 30 North will entertain residents and guests for dinner five nights a week featuring chefs flight menus, imaginative ammuses, wine paired entrees, and freshly prepared decadents from our pastry chef. As a member of this 30 North team you will be able to sharpen your skills working alongside passionate culinarians while under the mentorship of the Chef de Cuisine. Cooking at 30 North requires a higher degree of culinary knowledge to include: a strong blend of modern and classical cooking techniques; proper fabrication of meat, poultry, and fish; classical sauce preparations, as well as emulsifications and gastriques.

We are seeking a Fine Dining Cook whose primary responsibility is to have a higher degree of culinary knowledge to include: a strong blend of modern and classical cooking techniques; proper fabrication of meat, poultry, and fish; classical sauce preparations, as well as emulsifications and gastriques.

Manages Currents culinary and dining team operations and ensures compliance with all Food & Beverage policies, standards and procedures.
Forecast and track daily meal production needs and ensure information is communicated to kitchen team daily.
Ensure proper food preparation and handling and maintain clean and organized storage area.
Ability to recognize the superior quality in a products flavor and presentation.
Work with Executive Chef to develop seasonal and special menu changes.
Follows proper food handling and temperature standards and guidelines.
Ensures culinary and dining team members are practicing proper food handling, sanitation and infection control guidelines are followed at all times.
Effectively investigates, reports, and follows-up on staff member incidents.
Adheres to and enforces all Fleet Landing safety standards.
Develop specific guidelines and plans to prioritize, organize, and accomplish daily kitchen operations work.
Minimum Education Required:
High school education preferred. Must be able to read, write, speak English and follow written and oral directions. Technical or vocation training in Food Service or one (1) year on-the-job training is preferred.
Three (3) years of experience managing a team in a restaurant or similar food service establishment required.
