The Equipment Technician is responsible for inspecting, testing and overseeing the production of equipment, as well as, performing regular and extensive maintenance and repairs on equipment.  The technician should perform job duties including, but not limited to, evaluate, inspect, and maintain various types of manufacturing equipment and machinery in the facility.


  1. Report the equipment status and related anomalies/corrective actions to the Equipment Engineer.
  2. Ability to utilize typical hand tools and electrical testing devices.
  3. Ensure equipment operates smoothly and efficiently within manufacturing requirements.
  4. Execute daily/monthly Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  5. Install, test, and maintain mechanical, pneumatic, and electrical systems.
  6. Generate equipment deficiency reports to resolve equipment anomalies and prevent potential failures or material damage.
  7. Improve equipment performance, minimize equipment down-time, and make recommendations for equipment improvements.
  8. Ability to read and interpret electrical and pneumatic drawings, schematics, and diagrams.
  9. Maintain the spare parts program.
  10. Cooperate with internal and external audits, regulations, ISO Standards, GMPs, QFS, 5P, etc.
  11. Maintain safe working environment
  12. Additional related duties may be assigned based upon business requirements.


  1. College degree preferred. 
  2. Proficiency in electrical or mechanical maintenance and repair.
  3. Ability to lift 35lbs, bend over, and stand for long periods of time.
  4. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  5. Microsoft Office suite experience.
  6. Self-motivated with strong organizational/prioritization skills.
  7. Proven ability to work effectively under pressure & meet deadlines.
  8. Excellent problem solving skills.
  9. Ability to be a key technical resource preferred.
  10. Ability to communicate clearly in English. (Mandarin desired in addition to English)
  11. At least 2 years related working experience.
