Description

The Director of IMO & PMO will be responsible for leading M&A integration projects and other strategic projects for Nivel. The primary goal of the Director is to take their proven background in integration and program management to lead and drive the successful delivery of business solutions. In addition, an overall willingness to learn and adapt to new challenges will be required to drive and complete new business integrations resulting from M&A activity. As an experienced leader, the Director will provide hands-on support and leadership throughout each deal and prioritized strategic projects across all Nivel business units and departments.

  • Proven competency in standing up and leading IMO and PMO organizations.
  • Partner with department leaders across the company including but not limited to information technology, manufacturing, distribution, and finance to deliver on strategic objectives satisfying the value creation plan set forth by the ELT.
  • Work closely with key business leaders, acquired associates, and matrixed integration workstream leads to understand integration requirements and enable fulfillment of strategic objectives including synergy realization.
  • Drive cross-functional collaboration with all functional workstreams through site visits, the use of video conferencing, SharePoint, and other tools.
  • Ensure standard business practices are established, documented, and stored as templates for repeatable process; and that followed by project teams.
  • Work closely with matrixed SMEs and integration workstream leads to enable M&A progress and to ensure all workstreams including IT execute on pre and post M&A activities.
  • Serve as a first line of escalation for issues requiring immediate resolution if project timeline is in jeopardy.
  • Facilitate weekly meetings with the extended integration team(s) and present summary updates upon request or during scheduled ELT meetings based on the strategic nature of the initiative.

Preferred Skills:

  • 10+ years of hands-on PMO and IMO experience with a passion for establishing and governing project management best practices.
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience with leading pre and post M&A activities with a demonstrated ability to assess risks, opportunities, and potential costs as well as building, refining, and executing an integration playbook to migrate new business to the company from a people, process, and technology perspective.
  • Demonstrated experience leading teams in a dynamic environment.
  • Ability to think and act independently and to multi-task and handle several tasks at once under deadlines.
  • Able to establish priorities and plan, develop, coordinate, and monitor own work plan and those collaborating on the execution of projects
  • Demonstrated effective oral and written communication skills.
  • High impact individual with the ability to partner, challenge, persuade and influence others.
  • Must be self-motivated with the ability to effectively prioritize, engage a team and drive results to meet deadlines.
  • Accepts challenges and takes initiative.
  • Remains calm and effective in high-pressure situations.
  • Experience with Finance, Warehouse Management, Trade and Logistics, Master Planning and Forecasting.
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
