We are seeking a Transportation Coordinator to assist the Manager of Transportation Services; specifically as it relates to transportation needs in accordance with federal, state, and local regulations. The Transportation Coordinator will focus on achieving and maintaining a high standard of Resident satisfaction and meeting organizational business objectives for independent living Residents.

Key Responsibilities:Coordinates scheduled and non-scheduled transportation requests for Fleet Landing Residents, guests, and other departments.
Covers the transportation request phone, confirming transportation requests, compiling information for drivers to successfully transport Residents and guests; and transporting Residents and guests as needed.
Monitors pre- and post- inspections of vehicles for safe operations and routine maintenance of all vehicles; submitting monthly reports.
Monitors cleaning and inspections of all vehicles and assist when needed.
Assists Wellness Manager and Director of Wellness Services with special events.
Coordinates drivers to assist with the set up and break down of events.
Exhibits positive customer service to both internal and external customers.
Maintains a working knowledge of and ensures compliance with all environmental, federal, state, and local governmental rules and regulations.
Assists in developing positive relationships on behalf of Fleet Landing with government regulators, Residents, families, visitors, and the community at large as well as serving as a resource of information to the community related to wellness and transportation.
Utilizes the quality improvement process in all areas of the activities, wellness and transportation operations.
Other duties as assigned as designated from time to time based on the overall needs of the WellInspired Program by the Director of Wellness Services.
Minimum Education Required:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Must possess and maintain a valid Florida Commercial Driver's License (A,B, or C with P endorsement) through employment with no serious moving violations in the past 7 years.
Prior experience with seniors or individuals with special demands of healthcare population highly preferred.
