As a Human Capital Technology Senior Analyst, you will be responsible for providing creative solutions for complex problems through research and analysis of data, processes and HR system capabilities.  Core responsibilities will include documenting Requirements, creating a Functional Design, System Testing, User Acceptance Testing and Implementing Change Requests following a predefined process.  As an individual contributor you will support Global Self Service (GSS) Payroll related functionality while maintaining data integrity across all Business areas that utilize an integrated platform for Human Capital Management.

Required qualifications:

  • Human Capital Management system experience
  • Experienced in Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
  • A proven track record in problem solving system related functionality gaps
  • Analytical experience in researching the root cause and effect of system functionality
  • Experience with comprehension of relational database functionality
  • If you need to enter a work site for any reason, you will be required to screen for symptoms using the ProtectWell mobile app, Interactive Voice Response (i.e., entering your symptoms via phone system) or a similar UnitedHealth Group-approved symptom screener. Employees must comply with any state and local masking orders. In addition, when in a UnitedHealth Group building, employees are expected to wear a mask in areas where physical distancing cannot be attained

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Technology, or related field
  • 5+ years’ experience in Human Capital applications
  • Experienced in Payroll processing Domestic or International Employee populations
  • Experience with SQL or other reporting capabilities
  • Experience with Microsoft applications with an emphasis in Access and Excel
  • Experienced in working in a change management environment
