Role Summary\:

Lead the F&PT Site sourcing, commodity leads and SQEs for the Jacksonville, FL operations to drive cost out from products & services, improve supplier fulfillment performance and help BHGE by improving its cash position. Partner with the senior business leaders to collaborate on growth opportunities for Jacksonville product lines. Work with HQ team and identify synergy opportunities to drive commodity strategy resulting in deflation or productivity opportunities for F&PT. Be a leader and focal point for all sourcing issues for F&PT in Jacksonville. Partner with the Materials team and be an inclusive leader of the purchasing team


Essential Responsibilities\:

In the role of Sr. Sourcing Staff Manager, you will\:

  • Define and improve Sourcing strategies at business or plant level
  • Drive deflation and cost out opportunities for the services business
  • Partner with Services leaders and help grow the business
  • Be process driven and help with ITO-OTR streamlining
  • Manage the regional & business sourcing teams
  • Ensure that all lead times and pricing information is accurate and completed for new parts
  • Develop a strategy to improve fulfillment performance for all Jacksonville Suppliers
  • Give input to business programs of an encompassing part of a function or a business unit and to midterm plan
  • Work with Supplier quality team to reduce supplier cost of quality and defects
  • Be a focal point for Services leadership for all sourcing related issues
  • Inclusive leadership and partnership with Buyer community to improve talent and drive supplier performance

Qualifications/Requirements\:

  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Sourcing Management

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in Operational purchasing
