RESPONSIBILITIES:

Kforce has a client in search of a Senior Network & Cloud Systems Engineer in Jacksonville, FL.

Summary:
The role of this position will serve as a Tier 2 Senior Engineer in our Customer Solutions Center. The ideal Senior Network & Cloud Systems Engineer will have a broad base of knowledge and experience, be an independent worker and be willing to mentor and teach junior engineers.

Duties Include:

• Build a strong professional relationship with our client base
• Implement and adhere to ITIL framework
• Provide preventative maintenance services
• Provide emergency service to clients as required; Troubleshoot and resolve network, server, workstation, and software problems
• Install servers, workstations, printers, routers, firewalls, and other hardware as required by client
• Install operating systems, networking software/firmware and application software
• Configure and tune software to meet the client's functional, performance and security requirements
• Architect and design networks and systems to meet client's requirements; Document these designs and present proposals to clients for their review and acceptance
• Track daily activities to generate billing reports; Work with the client and with Management to determine how to increase the company's value to its clients
