Responsibilities and Representations
This is a full-time position and you will be expected to devote your full business attention and efforts towards this client . You represent and warrant that:
a. Responsible for the review and completion of the Closing Disclosure. This includes obtaining all necessary information from the conveyancing attorney so that the Closing Disclosure is complete and accurate and is in full compliance with RESPA requirements. Sends Closing Disclosure to the conveyancing attorney along with the closing package.
b. Manage multiple priorities while meeting closing dates and TRID guidelines
c. Scheduling loan closing dates and compiling the documents necessary for loan closings.
d. Reviewing approved mortgage loans to determine conditions that must be met prior to closing
e. Reviews loan closing packages for completion and accuracy, and for compliance with applicable Federal and State regulations, prior to sending the packages to the conveyancing attorney.
f. Responsible for maintaining and monitoring attorney’s files for required documentation, including closing protection letters and evidence of current liability insurance coverage
g. Responsible for the monitoring of rate lock expirations and ensuring that loans close at the appropriate rates, points, and terms.
h. Tracks scheduled loan closings and maintains contact with attorneys to verify that closing took place.
i. Assists Post Closing function in resolving applicable exception items.
j. Calculates wire amount for each loan package, balances figures with the settlement agent and prepares wire request for funding of each loan.
k. Maintains documents and files in accordance with Department policies and procedures.
l. Assists supervisor and other department members in various closing tasks as assigned.
m. Required responding to internal and external audits in a timely and proactive and positive manner.
