Are you an experienced L& E litigation secretary interested in a full-time, permanent job opportunity in downtown Jacksonville, FL? You will be assisting two attorneys and one paralegal in this collaborative office. You will be responsible for drafting, formatting, and proofreading legal documents and correspondence; heavy filing and e-filing in state, federal, and appellate courts; handling discovery / eDiscovery; assisting with trial preparation; legal research; calendar management and docketing; and other tasks as assigned. The ideal candidate will be a pleasure to work with, with an energetic, proactive attitude and excellent written and verbal communication skills. Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of solid labor and employment litigation secretary experience, familiarity with local judges’ practice standards is a huge plus!
  • Strong computer proficiency, especially with MS Office (Word, Outlook, and Excel) and Adobe Acrobat Professional; experience with Worldox is a plus
  • Solid organizational and time management skills with high attention to detail
  • Great written and verbal communication skills
