Transfer Agent Control provides cash flow projections, activity reporting, outstanding balance reporting, and money movement instructions for Money Market, Bank Deposit, and College Savings Plan Products distributed by MLPFS.  Daily activity is received from multiple MLPFS distribution channels including Retail, Retirement, and Institutional sales segments, in addition to FDS Direct Shareholders.  Services performed by Transfer Agent Control support settlement and accounting functions with Funds, Fund Accountants, Transfer Agents, Treasury, and Custody Banks.  Transfer Agent Control facilitates $2.9 trillion in money movement annually for over 240 products.

Through this position, the teammate will gain the knowledge of fundamental concepts and proprietary program skills necessary to grow and expand a career at Bank of America Merrill Lynch.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Build and strengthen sustainable relationships with internal and external business partners
  • A subject matter expert in on your processes and ability to assist with the resolution of daily outages
  • Assist with updates to procedural documentation / process maps, and participate in system testing as needed
  • Professional communication (written and verbal)
  • Participate in internal and third party audits
  • Ability to research and resolve inquiries from internal and external business partners
  • Support department initiatives
  • Manage risk by identifying and escalating items appropriately
  • Participate in projects and special assignments as needed
  • Process improvement and technology enhancement coordination
  • Update/Maintain accurate procedures
  • Maintain Physical Record Retention and facilitate movement of documents to offsite storage
  • Provide training and guidance to junior team members where necessary

Initially you may be required to work from home and/or remotely in this role:
