Job Description
GENERAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
u2022 Works to achieve assigned annual sales quota.
u2022 Manages, plans, organizes, leads and controls balanced sales growth, continued account penetration and customer satisfaction on a long-term multi-year focus.
u2022 Acts as primary liaison between client and FIS and understands client needs including financial expectations and restrictions.
u2022 Develops and executes account plans to ensure continued revenue growth from account base.
u2022 Performs detailed territory review for management (1st Quarter) providing information on assigned client base.
u2022 Demonstrates product and industry knowledge including various solutions, market strategies and competitive intelligence.
u2022 Prepares and presents proposals to clients utilizing FIS resources and tools. Garners sales management approval for proposal generation and may not apply discounts to proposals/contracts without obtaining FIS management approval.
u2022 Structures, negotiates and closes u201Cdealsu201D that meet customer expectations and FIS's ability to deliver; utilizes appropriate company resources per resources plan to provide product marketing support or specialized product sales expertise.
u2022 Negotiates terms and conditions of FIS contracts with client and ensures terms are within FIS standards.
u2022 Ensures accurate forecasting and pipeline management as well as accurate content and certification of information in EMS (Entity Management System for assigned clients.
u2022 Implements account coverage methodologies that ensure 100% renewal rates of current FIS clients.
u2022 Identifies and reports u201Cat risku201D clients and escalates to executive management; prepares, implements and executes u201Cat risku201D plan.
u2022 Listens and escalates concerns of customers with regard to current products/services.
u2022 Within client organizations, builds network of both operational and executive C-level users and maintains knowledge of products and services utilized.
u2022 Works directly with Corporate Briefing Team to plan, coordinate and facilitate client meetings at FIS offices and Executive and/or Sales Executive visits and presentations at client on-site facilities.
u2022 Prepares and submits Client Call Report after each client visit.
u2022 Other related duties assigned as needed.

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's degree or the equivalent combination of education, training, or work experience.

GENERAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES
u2022 Good understanding of FIS products and services
u2022 General knowledge of financial and/or payment solutions technology including systems, applications and banking practices
u2022 Requires expert negotiation and communication skills, both written and verbal
u2022 Communicates ideas both verbally and in written form via presentation in a clear, concise and professional manner appropriate to audience including executive levels
u2022 Requires solid decision-making and problem solving skills
u2022 Analytical skills are required to determine client business needs and requirements
u2022 Ability to remain calm under various levels of pressure
u2022 Ability to show established track record of involvement in industry trade groups preferred
u2022 Requires the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with all levels of management (internally/externally), employees, clients and public

Advanced professional role. Distinguished by additional specialized knowledge in breadth and/or depth, as well as record of success in sales. Viewed as an expert in the field. Having wide-ranging experience, uses professional concepts and company objectives to resolve complex issues in creative and effective ways. Has expert level knowledge of company products and services and may be tasked with introducing new products. Assigned to large, complex, high visibility, strategic, or tactically important accounts. May have a leadership role. Determines methods and procedures on new assignments and may coordinate activities of other personnel. Typically requires eight to twelve years field sales or client management experience.
