Compensation: 
The pay range for this role is $65,600- $82,000 annually and is based on experience and qualifications.

Position Summary:

The Associate Marketing Manager will be responsible for setting strategy, direction and implementing tactical execution for various communications channels across ADT’s B2B commercial security segment. Objectives will include effectively communicating ADT Commercial’s story of innovation and deep market presence as a premier commercial security integrator – both internally to employees and externally to the industry and its decisionmakers. The Associate Marketing Manager must exhibit a clear understanding of various communications strategies and channels and the style of messaging applied to each, including public relations, advertising, thought-leading content, digital/web content, internal communications and social media. 

Duties and Responsibilities: 
Play a key role as part of the marketing team participating in discussions and projects that support the overall team goals including but not limited to:

Communications Content Strategy Management

  • Oversee and execute on both internal and external communications strategies for ADT Commercial to create consistency in voice, promote overall company narrative and appeal to target audiences in commercial security
  • Collaborate with the digital team to identify effective, industry-specific thought leadership content strategy to support email, marketing automation channels and web copy development
  • Assist in drafting press materials, media talking points and overall message houses to deliver on ADT Commercial external communications strategy aligned with overall business goals
  • Carefully edit all internal/external communications, newsletters, sales content and collateral and bylined articles
  • Effectively lead and execute on both internal and external communications strategies to support product launches and solution commercialization
  • Proactively monitor industry and competitor trends to ensure communications strategy alignment
  • Identify opportunities across marketing channels – including through proactive pitching, social media engagement, advertising creative and others – to increase external awareness to ADT Commercial’s presence across various industries and vertical markets

Education/Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Communications, English, Creative Arts, Public Relations, Marketing or a related field
  • 5+ years experience in B2B marketing
  • Experience marketing services preferred
  • Exposure to Marketing Automation a plus
  • Experience in Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop a plus

  • Exceptional copywriting and communication skills necessary to achieve success and full execution of both internal and external communications strategies
  • Quick adaptation and understanding of the overall ADT Commercial brand voice to create consistency across communications channels
  • In-depth knowledge of best writing and messaging practices for various channels, including public relations, internal communications, feature articles, thought leadership content, advertising, web copy, digital marketing, sales copy and social media
  • Experience working effectively in cross-functional and remote teams to deliver projects in a rapid paced environment
  • Strong project management skills to execute numerous projects simultaneously with accountability for project deadlines
  • Successful track record building consensus and influencing stakeholders in order to implement strategy and achieve results
  • Ability to effectively work together with marketers, product managers, and sales teams alike
  • Candidate must have an entrepreneurial and self-starting mentality and be able to deal with ambiguity
  • Candidate must be organized, driven, and a fast learner
  • Excellent creative, communication and critical thinking skills
