Position Title: Vaccination Support Specialist
Location: Remote, must live in CO
Duration: Beginning of March – 6+ months
Shifts Available:
• Tuesday-Saturday AM shift
o Tue – Fri 7am – 3:30pm
o Sat 8am-4:30pm
• Tuesday-Saturday PM Shift
o Tue-Fri 1:30pm-10pm
o Sat 12:30pm-9pm
• Sunday-Thursday AM shift
o Sun 8am-4:30pm
o Mon-Thu 7am-3:30pm
• Sunday-Thursday PM shift
o Sun 12:30pm-10pm
o Mon-Thu 1:30pm-10pm
• Thursday-Sunday 10 hour
o Thu-Sun 10am-8:30pm
Job Description: This role is integral to the Colorado’s ongoing COVID-19 disease outbreak response; this includes the scheduling of vaccinations to education professionals and residents over the age of 65, providing accurate guidance of the vaccination process and calling waitlist residents to schedule appointments.
● Effectively answer telephone and provide clear direction to residents regarding scheduling and vaccination process.
● Utilize software to help patients get registered and schedule first and second dose appointments. This includes receiving inbound calls and making outbound calls as requested.
● Keep current with all documentation, reference materials, forms, and electronic resources to answer and resolve customer inquiries.
● Complete special assignments given by the unit supervisor or lead worker to ensure the unit functions efficiently.
● Comply with division rules and policies regarding job performance, attendance, punctuality, use of allowable leaves.
● High degree of reliability. The individual must report for work and leave and return from breaks and lunch at the scheduled times.
Minimum Qualifications:
● Education - High School Diploma / GED (or higher) + 4 years of experience
● Education/professional experience in public health preferred
● Strong interpersonal, written/verbal communication; must be able to effectively operate a PC in a network-based environment.
● Proficiency in MS Suites; Teams, Outlook, Word, and Excel
● Strong work ethic, flexible, able to manage multiple priorities and adapt to change
Proven problem solving and critical thinking skills.
● Experience working and communicating in challenging situations (e.g., unhappy customers, missing or incomplete information, etc.) and successfully resolving issues.
● Ability to speak, read, and write English.
Preferred Qualifications:
● Fluent in at least one language in addition to English.
o Preferred languages: Spanish.
